First day in the mission field

Sister Lucy Kuhn arrived in England Leeds Mission on Wednesday night 19th June 2013,  flying from Auckland to London via Los Angeles, then to Leeds.

Pictured here with her mission president, President Lindley and Sister Lindley, and (we think) her companion, Sister McReynolds.

Dear Brother and Sister Kuhn,

It is with pleasure we welcome your daughter, Sister Lucy Rachel Kuhn, to the England Leeds Mission.  We find her prepared and committed to serve the Lord and to share the message of the Restored Gospel.

Your daughter's first companion is Sister McReynolds who was prayerfully selected to ensure the best introduction to missionary work for Sister Kuhn. They will be serving in the  Leeds 1 Sisters Area of Leeds A Zone.   We are confident their relationship will be a mutual blessing.

Weekly encouragement from home will certainly help inspire Sister Kuhn's missionary effort.
Please let other family and friends know how important it is to write positive, encouraging letters that support missionary work.  Your daughter's permanent address is now:

Sister Lucy Rachel Kuhn
England Leeds Mission
Lister House, Lister Hill
Leeds LS18 5AZ

I want you to know that Sister Lindley and I consider it a privilege to serve with your daughter and promise to help all we can, and strive to direct her efforts in the Lord's way.

Sincerely yours,

Jerel D. Lindley
